Super delicious food at reasonable prices, friendly service, highly recommended!
The hammer! The M6 in particular is 120% recommendable. Unfortunately we couldn't sit inside because of Corona, but it looks very nice.
Very tasty, authentic Vietnamese! Pho and other viet. Classics like Bun Ga are highly recommended. The dumplings are also very good. Good atmosphere inside, and during Corona also sufficiently distant, bamboo-separated seating outside. (Summer 2020) Friendly and competent service. My visits have always been perfect. Priced in the evening a bit more expensive. But in my opinion it is worth it compared to the classic Lieferando Asias. Saving tip: make lunch menu and take-away -> top dishes for around 11 €
We have already been here 3 times at lunchtime, initially to eat there, unfortunately not possible at the moment. The shop has a very nice ambience and invites you to sit outside as well as inside and we liked it very much. The food is great and the portions are medium to large. We look forward to coming back soon and enjoying it in the evening! Service was distant but friendly during the visit.
Mega delicious food in an authentic atmosphere. Unfortunately only to take away due to the current situation. 5/5 stars, really recommendable!
Very nice atmosphere and delicious food. The owner is very friendly and the price is good.
The food was good. But the waiter was very rude and after an hour we were told to please leave. I wouldn't go again.
Very nice shop. Food is good only small portions
Very Good Drinks and Food, the stuff is very friendly too?
Great place with great food and authentic decor. The lunch menu is particularly recommended and in summer you can sit outside in the sun and enjoy the food.
I finally found an authentic Vietnamese deli eatery. The food was delicious. The decor is very cozy and you feel a bit like old Saigon. Definitely come more often.
That was such good food !!! Yes, I like Vietnamese food, but it's not that good everywhere! Starters great. Try the summer rolls. Soup - blast! Makes you long for Asia. Very friendly service. Thank you! I'm looking forward to the next time. Stay healthy.
Good food. Bit shady on the pricing. Check your bill agains the menu prices.
The restaurant is very nice and tastefully decorated. The staff was friendly and the food was really good. I wanted it a little spicier and they gave me spices on a separate plate After seasoning given, proceed slowly with the careful advice. What I only wondered about was the answer to my question whether the door could be opened, because it was raining outside and it was 9 degrees. The answer from the staff: "if I close the door nobody comes in" So if in doubt, bring warm clothes with you, it could be cold in the restaurant
In the Saigon Deli you can sit inside as well as outside very nicely. The food is good, not super good. The service is simple and Asian. Not unfriendly, but also not overly hospitable. The thumb stuck out relatively far into the plate for all three dishes (2 main dishes, 1 dessert). Conclusion: 3.5 - 4 stars.
What good is it if the food is good, but you are treated underground as a guest? Clearly: nothing! We were just there for dinner as a couple, reservations had been made for days. We had starter, main and dessert as well as several drinks. We were there for a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes, after a good hour we were asked to leave - the spoon with the dessert still in our mouths. The table was only reserved for 45 minutes (? !!) ... Apart from the fact that 30 minutes had already passed by the time the main course came, this was not communicated either when making the reservation or when seated at the table. Since I also had scalding hot tea at the table, I still needed three minutes to pour it into myself (it also costs 4.40 euros). During this period of time we were asked THREE TIMES to leave or the last time we were practically grumbled that the next guests were already waiting outside. Something like that is outrageous and unacceptable, even by Munich standards. For me, the Saigon Deli is written off. You can find good Vietnamese food elsewhere ... Plus the feeling of being valued as a guest.
Great ambience !!! Food was really really good! Had at least 7 different dishes including starters and couldn't fault it. Even with special requests regarding children, everything worked out. We had a lot of fun with our service, thank you and see you next time for sure!
This place has been my usual go to place to meet friends over Vietnamese food. I love the rustic French Indochina interior of this place. It makes the atmosphere very cozy. The food is great. First time I order the wrap your own rolls and I have continued to order it since because it's so good. I got the duck once and another time the shrimp and both was so flavorful and succulent. Highly recommend!
The food was absolutely delicious! Reservation is a must - we went there during the week and it was very busy.
Great food and great service. I’m here during COVID times and they have quite a few tables outside, spread apart nicely and all service staff are wearing really protective masks. They’re also super friendly to the fact I don’t speak German yet. I really enjoyed my lunch special and a delicious beer. I will for sure be back again.
A bit pricy up excellent food
Extremely good food. Asian/Thai/Viet dishes very good adopted to European taste. Very tasty.
One of my best ‘Pho Bo’ and ‘Bun Cha’! Must be tried!
Love this restaurant, beautifully decorated, food is fresh and made with love and care, the personell are attentive and friendly. There are great vegan choices, as well as delicious coctails. I think this is the best vietnamese restaurant in Munich, prices are "normal", but really "great" for the quality of food they serve.
Super restaurant ⭐️ A great restaurant with a super nice decor. The food tastes extremely delicious and the prices are reasonable. Service friendly and quick. We would love to come back next time we visit Munich
Delicious Vietnamese food with a great variety and great drinks too. The service was super helpful to explain the different options. Try to make a reservation before you go.
great food
The food was quite good, though a bit pricy for what you get. The venue is beautiful, modern, yet authentic. However, the service does not live up to the rest. Making a reservation was a total hastle (no one picks up the phone / when do, you’re left on hold for 5+ minutes), and the service not too pleasant. The entire evening we were rushed and reminded that we must leave by 8, though we were already told this when the reservation was made. We ordered and ate quickly, and nothing indicated that we would be staying longer than 8, yet the staff constantly came around to rush us out and this really was not pleasant. Perhaps coming around lunch time would be more relaxed :)
Location is hip like anything in the area. It is more a bar atmosphere with slightly dimmed light where the focus is not the food. food is not exceptional and the service was a bit slow and unattentive. From the starters the seaweed salad was most interesting, the whole mackarel is nice The desserts were not too sweet, what i usually appreciate, but in this case i just felt, the cook forgot all sugar.
The ambience looks nice but unfortunately they're not welcome the English speaker. I know that's we are in Germany but not everyone speaks German. There's no English Menu available in this restaurant. The short-hair female waitress is very unwelcome, showing her face and spoke with an unpleasant tone of voice. Only that I asked for English menu, she talked back with attitude "No! WE DON'T HAVE ENGLISH MENU" and walk away. Maybe she should be sent back to train about how to act in the service industry. And a suggestion to the restaurant to start bringing in the English menu, it's not something new as most of restaurants in the world provide the English menu too.
Great Vietnamese Food in fancy setting
Food was very good and served very fast. The chairs though are very very uncomfortable. If you plan a long dinner make sure to make a reservation and ask for a table with comfortable chairs.
What an amazing addition to the Munich food scene. After stepping into the delightful decor and finding a seat nestled into the environment you're in for a treat. All drinks and especially the cocktails are delicious, believe me you'll be having more than one after your first. Starters are all super tasty including the spare ribs and popcorn chicken. I always get these when I come here. Main dishes are plentiful but my favourite iare the Bao, light and fluffy and always worth the wait. Highly recommended, I can't believe that I've only just written a review after 5 or more visits.
NEVER VISIT AGAIN! Overpriced decent Pho with great spring rolls. But I'd rate this place 0 stars for a terrible mannered staff(with the tablet) who bumped my elbow twice while I was eating without saying sorry and rudely waved her arm to drive customers away after 2-3 minutes the billed was checked. For whoever wants to push their lucks, it's not crowded on Tuesday evening so walk-in is possible for a small group of people.
Beautiful decor! Friendly service and recommendations are on top. The food was delicious, appetizers around the 7 €, main courses about 16 €, so more expensive than the average Asian, but qualitatively not much better, so a star less. Nevertheless, I like to come back.
A positive taste explosion in the nose and mouth. I have not had that for a long time. ?? The only drawback: in the map should be noted that some of the dishes are very spicy. I really liked the atmosphere. Even the dog was no problem.
Good food but service attitude by an elder lady is horrible.
Busy restaurant and hard to get a table for 6 without a booking - we were split across two tables. Extremely good Vietnamese food... watch out for the chilli oil!
Was told to leave because it was too busy.
Great atmosphere and food! Excellent service. Definitely book a table! They even have some vegan options on their menu.
Really good! Service was really nice and helpful, we were not sure what to order (as everything looked really good!) and asked for advice. The waitress chose everything for us - from appetizer to main and we loved it! we had the bao with suck and for main the crispy meat, really recommend it. all together with a glass of wine was EUR 35 per person, totally fair.
Very nicely decorated inside, top food
Super yummy food. Authentic. Great service.
This place is great. I had done summer roles. This may be one of the best Vietnamese places in Munich... Just sayin'
Very delicious, quite orthodox taste, the service staff is very funny and friendly, and the decoration is modern and comfortable. Jasmine Eistee is super delicious.
We liked it very much. Chairs could be more comfortable, everything else great. Nice atmosphere.
Had a really nice dinner. Great food, friendly service and lovely interior. Reservation is needed as restaurant is still new and it seems that a lot people want to test it out. It is worth it. Will definately come back.
Very good food, nice atmosphere
